We are pleased to announce that our ongoing friendship with Wigan & Leigh Hospice is set to blossom and we are now the Official Sponsor for their vital fund raising lottery. The Hospice Lottery is one of the main sources of income for the Hospice, which provides specialist end of life care and a wide range of free services for local people. They also support hundreds of patients in their own homes.

Via your Kay’s milkman you can help us ensure that many more patients in need of their support can access the wide range of essential services for years to come.

We are encouraging all our customers to consider joining the weekly draw in support of the Hospice. You may even win the guaranteed top prize of £1,000 or their rollover prize of up to £10,000. Our rounds men will shortly distribute a leaflet detailing the Lottery, which includes a sign-up section. Online Payment Process Changing from 13th April 2012

Recently we let you know about the new Direct Debit automated payment service we are now offering our customers. This was tested on a few customers and has now been rolled out across all the rounds. This method of payment has proved so popular and successful that we now encourage all our customers, new and existing, to use it and all our office processes are geared up to make it as smooth and automatic as possible. To that end we are no longer able to support the online payment option via SagePay which has been available via this site. This will cease to be available from 13th April. If you do currently pay via your card on this website then please get in touch with us via email malcolm.kay@kaysdairy.co.uk and request a Direct Debit form, or contact your milkman or call the office direct.

Kay’s Dairy are pleased to announce that we can now offer you the convenience of paying your bill by regular direct debits, just like many of the other services you use.

We are keen to bring in new developments and services for our customers. We also need to find ways to limit risk and improve working conditions for our delivery men. Ask us about registering to pay by our safe and simple method, underwritten by the national Direct Debit Guarantee Scheme, then you can benefit from:

~ Having an itemised bill emailed or delivered to you

~ No longer needing to be in for your Milkman to call

~ No longer having to have the cash to hand or leave cheques out

~ No large bills building up – direct debits are fortnightly or monthly

Our new website is now live and online! Kay’s Dairy continues its commitment to service and convenience and can now offer a new online shopping service to our customers.

Our website is our ’shop window’ – where you can browse over 175 great products and select whichever you like, in a simple and user friendly process. A couple of clicks and you can amend or add to your regular order – right up to 10pm in the evening - and the products will be on your doorstep on whichever day you have asked them to be delivered. That can be the very next day, or any of the days we normally deliver to you.

No more leaving notes out for your milkman. No more waiting in to pay, or having cash to hand as you can also pay by direct debit.

And you will be surprised at the range of goods available on our website – just go to the ‘Shop & Deliver’ page and you will see a whole range of product groups. Browse our extensive range of dairy products, breads, cereals, pop, cordials, pet food and teabags – through to non-food items such as toilet rolls and bin bags – all the bulky or heavy items you don’t need to shop for or carry home any longer. Kay’s Dairy is a local family business with a strong involvement in the local community, which not only stems from our daily business activities but also extends into the areas at the heart of the community with our early morning pinta patrols and our milk to schools program.

Pinta Patrols

This is a scheme that we have been involved in with Greater Manchester Police for some time, and essentially is were our milkman keep a watchful eye out for any unusual activities around houses, as they are completing their early morning delivery rounds. With all our milkmen carrying mobile phones, we are able to notify the police immediately of any suspicious activities seen in your area, and ask the police to investigate the matter.
